Is the HTX Scholarship open now?
No. HTX says its 2026 scholarship application cycle is closed and will reopen on 1 September 2026. That is a future reopening date, not this article's update date.

Current status
HTX's page does not publish the closing date for the next cycle yet. Return to the official page on or after 1 September and confirm:
- the application deadline;
- the application portal;
- required documents;
- selection stages;
- approved courses and universities; and
- the offer's exact benefits and bond terms.
Do not reuse a previous cycle's closing date or assume that a third-party form remains valid.
Eligibility published by HTX
HTX currently lists these conditions:
- Singapore Citizen;
- good leadership potential, interpersonal skills, and communication skills;
- passion for Science and Technology and/or Home Team operations;
- good academic and co-curricular records;
- GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic, NUS High School, or another high-school diploma or certificate; and
- for current undergraduates, good university results, at least one semester of results, and not being in the final year.
Candidates may apply before final school results are released. HTX says a suitable candidate may receive a provisional offer that remains subject to confirmation after results.
Course and place of study
HTX describes the award as an undergraduate scholarship. It prefers STEM disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, Sciences, or relevant specialisations. Other courses require agency approval.
The country or region of study is open, subject to approval. “Open” does not mean every university, course, or mode is automatically approved.
Published benefits
HTX lists:
- tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and other approved charges;
- back-payment of tuition and compulsory fees incurred before the award for mid-term scholarship holders;
- a one-time pre-studies allowance;
- return airfare where applicable; and
- sponsorship of a Master's degree if requirements are met and approval is given.
