Eligibility Highlights
- Strong results in A-Levels, IB, NUS High, polytechnic diplomas, or equivalent STEM curricula
- Proven leadership through CCAs, competition teams, research projects, or community initiatives
- Clear interest in applying science/tech to Home Team missions (forensics, cybersecurity, robotics, CBRNE, etc.)
- Mid-term applicants must be on track for at least Second Upper Honours (or equivalent) and have at least one semester left
- Medical fitness and suitability for security clearance assessments
Application Roadmap
- Review HTX's STEM discipline list and shortlist universities (local or overseas) that align with capability areas you want to support.
- Prepare academic transcripts, co-curricular records, recommendation letters, and a resume emphasising tech and leadership experiences.
- Submit the online application by mid-March, indicating whether you are applying for full-term or mid-term sponsorship.
- Complete psychometric tests and technical assessments; shortlisted applicants sit for panel interviews with HTX leaders.
- Attend preview sessions or job shadowing opportunities to understand HTX's divisions before accepting the offer.
- Sign the scholarship agreement, plan pre-university or vacation internships, and map out post-graduation rotations with your scholarship manager.
Preparation Playbook
- Build a portfolio of STEM projects (hackathons, robotics, data analytics, research) that demonstrate mission impact for security or public safety.
- Stay updated on Home Team operations and HTX technology deployments to speak concretely about how you can contribute.
