2026 Singapore dates
SIMCC's live calendar currently records:
- Singapore private candidates: 27 to 28 June 2026;
- Singapore school candidates: 8 June to 17 July 2026; and
- international candidates: 1 June to 31 July 2026.
These are different registration or delivery routes, not one universal test date. Use the route on the student's confirmation and ask the school or organiser about the exact sitting.
2026 results status
The organiser's registration page stated that results would be announced on 19 August 2026. That date has passed.
The public results archive checked on 25 August still displayed earlier cycles rather than public 2026 grade tables. This does not show that an individual result is missing. SIMCC directs participants to its Member Development Portal for result details and reports. Singapore school candidates can also check with their teacher, while international candidates can use their country partner.
Name and organiser
VANDA International Junior Science Olympiad is organised through the Singapore International Mastery Contests Centre network. The organiser page uses both VIJSO and VNJSO in its current copy. This guide treats them as labels on the same official VANDA site rather than inventing a distinction that the organiser does not explain.
Who can enter
The organiser states that the competition is for:
- Primary 3 to Primary 6, or Grades 3 to 6;
- Secondary 1 to Secondary 2, or Grades 7 to 8; and
- Secondary 3 to Secondary 4, or Grades 9 to 10, with one current overview reference also showing Grade 10/11.
