Raffles Institution Years 1 to 4: 2026 Curriculum, DSA, and Fees
Current RI Years 1 to 4 curriculum, 2026 DSA-Sec exercise, six-year commitment, fees, and financial-assistance information.
Raffles Institution's Years 1 to 4 academic and talent-development pages describe the current lower half of its six-year Raffles Programme. The current Year 1 DSA page owns the 2026 application details.
Q: What should a family verify about RI Years 1 to 4?
A: Check the current curriculum and talent pages, the live DSA-Sec criteria for the chosen domain, the six-year commitment, and the current fee and assistance table.
Last reviewed: 18 July 2026. RI marked its Year 1 DSA page as updated on 29 May 2026 and its fee page as updated on 2 April 2026.
Current curriculum and talent development
RI's academic page organises Years 1 to 4 across aesthetics, character and leadership, humanities, knowledge skills, languages, mathematics, physical education, and sciences. Its separate talent-development page lists current programmes and their intended audiences.
Programme names and year coverage can change. The old guide treated a selection of Galileo, Euler, AfterWord, Raffles Academy, and other programmes as one stable tiered pathway. The current guide instead routes each claim to RI's live talent-development page.
Participation in a named programme is not a guaranteed university, DSA, or scholarship advantage. Check the current school criteria and describe only the student's actual work.
2026 DSA-Sec for 2027 entry
RI's current exercise is for Primary 6 male students seeking entry in Academic Year 2027. The 2026 talent areas span Language and STEM, Leadership, Performing and Visual Arts, and Sports.
Applications were free through the MOE portal from 6 May 2026 at 11 am to 2 June 2026 at 4:30 pm. The page links domain-specific criteria and schedules. Shortlisted processes can include tests, submitted portfolios or videos, trials, auditions, group activities, and interviews.
RI states that meeting the criteria does not guarantee shortlisting or an offer. Applicants without prior experience may also apply and may be assessed for potential.
A student admitted through DSA-Sec:
- commits to RI's six-year IP;
- participates in activities related to the admitted talent from Years 1 to 4; and
- cannot submit school choices through the Secondary 1 Posting Exercise.
Use the current MOE and RI terms before accepting an offer.
2026 fees and assistance
RI's 2026 monthly fee table states:
| Category | Years 1 to 4 | Years 5 and 6 |
