TL;DR
Singapore now has 19 secondary or junior-college campuses offering a through-train, six-year Integrated Programme that lets students skip O-Levels and head straight to the A-Levels, IB Diploma or NUS High Diploma.
This post lists them all, groups them by exit qualification, and flags the signature Maths & Physics accelerators parents ask us about most.

1 | Why the IP matters for STEM-inclined students

  • 2 extra years for A-Level rigour—vital when H2 Maths compresses calculus, vectors and statistics into 18 months.
  • Early admission means schools can run gifted tracks (Olympiads, research modules) without the PSLE/O-Level “speed bumps”.
  • IP graduates consistently record >90 % A-Level university eligibility; Temasek JC's 2021 cohort hit 98 %.

2 | A-Level Integrated Programmes

School(s)PathwayWhat makes it unique (Maths/Physics lens)
Raffles Institution & Raffles Girls' School6-yr Raffles ProgrammeRaffles Academy pull-out classes let Y3-4 students tackle Olympiad-level proofs & experiments two years early.
Hwa Chong Institution & Nanyang Girls' High6-yr IPSabbatical Weeks every term replace lessons with coding, astro-physics or start-up bootcamps; Sec 1 boarding builds independence.
National Junior College6-yr IPFirst to run a formal Research Mentorship—students publish physics papers with NUS mentors before JC 1.
Dunman High SchoolDunman High ProgrammeSAP heritage + Integrated Maths spiral curriculum; school-based A-Math textbook emphasises vector mechanics.
River Valley High SchoolRV Integrated ProgrammeBicultural SAP focus plus Aerospace Lab that feeds the annual UAV challenge.
Temasek Junior College6-yr IP (Temasek Academy)East-side option with Beyond-Basics Core: Yr 3 calculus + Logger Pro data-logging from Yr 2.
Victoria School + Cedar Girls' + Victoria JCVictoria-Cedar AllianceParallel single-sex lower-sec, co-ed JC. Strong Maths-Physics hybrid tuition culture (see our Victoria-Cedar Guide).
Eunoia JIP: [Catholic High] + [CHIJ St Nicholas] + [Singapore Chinese Girls'] → Eunoia JC6-yr Joint IPThree feeder schools converge; Yr 3-4 Research@Eunoia pairs students with A*STAR physicists.

3 | IB Diploma Integrated Programmes

School(s)PathwaySTEM highlights
Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)6-yr IP → IBDP (co-ed in Y5-6)Houses the Singapore Physics Olympiad training squad; compulsory HL Maths for Science stream.
Methodist Girls' School4-yr IP (girls) → ACS(I) IBDPPerspectives & Inquiry module trains formal proof writing before HL Maths.
St Joseph's Institution4-yr IP (boys) → SJI IBDPIntegrated Lasallian Inquiry capstone blends ethics with investigative physics.

4 | Specialised Integrated Pathways

SchoolDiplomaWhy STEM-keen students care
NUS High School of Mathematics & ScienceNUS High Diploma (MOE + NUS-accredited)1,400 hours of lab time, mandatory Research & Innovation thesis, and accelerated multivariable calculus by Year 4.

5 | Quick reference by region

  • Central - RI/RGS, Eunoia JC, ACS(I), SJI, NYGH/HCI.
  • East - Dunman High, Victoria-Cedar Alliance, Temasek JC.
  • West - River Valley, NUS High, National JC.
  • North - Catholic High, CHIJ St Nicholas (Sec campus), SCGS.

6 | How to pick the “best-fit” IP school

  1. Maths/Physics acceleration: look for Olympiad or research tracks (Raffles Academy, NUS High, HCI CTP).
  2. Curriculum style: A-Level depth vs IB breadth; IB schools demand HL Maths for Engineering pathways.
  3. CCA load & boarding: Boarding (HCI, RI Yr 5) builds independence but raises weekly hours; factor tuition availability.
  4. Commute & culture fit: SAP schools (DHS, RVHS) teach higher Chinese extensively; important for non-SAP primary grads.
