CHIJ St Nicholas Joint IP: 2026 DSA, Eunoia, and Fees Guide
Current CHIJ St Nicholas Joint Integrated Programme route to Eunoia JC, 2026 DSA-Sec process, admissions evidence, fees, and source conflict.
CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School offers both the four-year Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate Programme and the six-year Joint Integrated Programme. Joint IP students spend Years 1 to 4 at SNGS and Years 5 and 6 at Eunoia Junior College, leading to the GCE A-Level examination.
Q: What should a family verify about the SNGS Joint IP?
A: Check the exact programme code, the current DSA talent list, the six-year commitment, the EJC subject rules, and the live MOE fee checker.
Last reviewed: 19 July 2026. The review used SNGS's 2026 DSA selection PDF and MOE SchoolFinder, including a talent-list inconsistency between them.
Joint IP route and subject ownership
SNGS's official history records the Joint IP partnership with Catholic High School, Singapore Chinese Girls' School, and EJC. SNGS owns the Years 1 to 4 curriculum. EJC owns the A-Level subject combinations and rules for Years 5 and 6.
MOE SchoolFinder classifies SNGS as a government-aided autonomous girls' school and a Special Assistance Plan school. Its live subject list is cohort-specific and may change for later intakes. A subject appearing in SchoolFinder does not establish every student's combination or the later EJC combination.
2026 DSA-Sec for 2027 entry
The SNGS selection PDF states that applications were open through the MOE portal from 6 May 2026 at 11am to 2 June 2026 at 4.30pm. In-person selection runs in July and August, and outcomes are issued from 17 to 28 August 2026.
Successful DSA applicants must honour either the four-year SEC Programme commitment or the six-year Joint IP commitment. Talent-area participation continues through Years 1 to 4. Meeting the criteria does not guarantee shortlisting or an offer, and applicants without prior experience may still be assessed for potential.
Source conflict: STEM
The current SNGS PDF lists sports and games, leadership, and bilingualism. MOE SchoolFinder separately displays STEM as a 2026 SNGS DSA talent area. Because the two current first-party surfaces do not agree, families should confirm STEM availability directly with SNGS before relying on it. This guide does not resolve the conflict by assumption.
Posting evidence and fees
MOE SchoolFinder reports the 2025 non-affiliated IP posting range as AL 4(D) to 7(M). This is a historical outcome, not a predicted cut-off or admission guarantee for a later exercise.
SNGS is an autonomous government-aided school. Monthly fees depend on citizenship and include MOE-set components plus the school's autonomous fee. Use the MOE fee checker for the current amount. Do not reuse old fee tables from archived registration material.
Frequently asked questions
Does the SNGS Joint IP lead to the IB Diploma?
No. It progresses to EJC and the GCE A-Level examination.
