Nanyang Girls' High IP: 2026 Curriculum, DSA, and Fees

Nanyang Girls' High School runs Years 1 to 4 of a six-year Integrated Programme, followed by Years 5 and 6 at Hwa Chong Institution. NYGH and HCI therefore own different parts of the public information.

Curriculum and HCI progression

NYGH's current curriculum page confirms that students spend Years 1 to 4 at NYGH and Years 5 and 6 at HCI. It describes concept-based teaching and the Fusion curriculum introduced to Secondary 1 in 2024. Fusion connects concepts, knowledge, real-world experience, design thinking, maker education, and collaboration.

These statements establish the school design. They do not prove that every student has the same readiness, workload, research access, or transition experience.

2026 DSA-Sec for 2027 entry

NYGH's 2026 page says applications were free through the MOE portal from 6 May 2026 at 11 am to 2 June 2026 at 4:30 pm. It publishes current domains, selection criteria, process, and commitment details.

The general selection criteria include aptitude in the talent area, performance at tests or trials, interviews, academic ability to manage the IP, and character and leadership disposition. Meeting all criteria does not guarantee shortlisting or an offer.

A student allocated to NYGH through DSA:

• does not participate in the Secondary 1 Posting Exercise;
• cannot transfer after PSLE results;
• commits to NYGH for Years 1 to 4 and HCI for Years 5 and 6; and
• follows the applicable Years 1 to 4 CCA or programme commitment for the admitted domain.

The 2026 page also records a 2026 Secondary 1 posting cut-off of AL 6(M). That is a historical outcome for that intake, not a guaranteed future threshold.
