Since 2019, every mainstream and IP secondary school (except a few specialised independents) funnels Direct School Admission through the MOE DSA-Sec Portal.

3 Step-by-step portal walkthrough
3.1 Before you log in
- Ensure at least one parent has Singpass.
- Download the offline template inside the portal (top-right corner after login) to collate your child's details, achievements and file names in advance.
3.2 Application window (7 May - 3 Jun)
- Log in with Singpass (mainstream pupils) or with MOE-issued RG Number + password (non-mainstream pupils).
- Enter up to 3 choices of school + talent (max 2 talents in one school).
- Review & submit; the second parent e-signs the same evening.
3.3 After submission
- Check e-mail/SMS for trial or interview slots between June and August.
- Log back in to view Confirmed / Wait-list / Unsuccessful outcomes in early September.
3.4 Preference-ranking window (27 - 31 Oct)
- Rank up to 3 offers; both parents must verify online or submit the MOE proxy form if overseas.
3.5 Results & commitment
- Placements are revealed with the PSLE slip; accepting an offer removes your child from the S1 Posting Exercise. Transfers are only granted on serious medical grounds.
