SASMO 2026 results are published.
Use SIMCC's overall final results by grade, distinguish them from batch lists, check portal reports, and describe awards accurately for DSA applications.
Are SASMO 2026 results out? Yes. SIMCC's official results page says Batch 1 and Batch 2 have been released and now links the Overall Final Results for Perfect Scorers, K2, Grades 1 to 12, and Certificate of Participation. Singapore appears in Batch 1. Use the overall final file for the final ranking.

The page provides Google Drive and SharePoint mirrors for:
Perfect Scorers;
K2;
each grade from Grade 1 to Grade 12; and
Certificate of Participation.
SIMCC labels these files Overall Final Results. Its Batch 1 section warns readers to refer to the overall final results for global ranking. Do not treat a batch list as the final global order.
Go to Overall Final Results, not only Batch 1 or Batch 2.
Select the candidate's exact grade, or the Perfect Scorers or Certificate of Participation file if relevant.
Use the file's search function for the candidate's name or school.
Check the grade, country or territory, school, and award before saving or sharing the result.
If one mirror is unavailable, use the other official mirror on the same page.
Portal reports and school communication
SIMCC's 2026 registration page says candidates need a Member Development Portal account to register and view results and reports. A private candidate should therefore check the account used for registration as well as the public result files.
For a school entry, follow the teacher-in-charge's instructions for any school-specific report, certificate, medal, or collection process. The public results page does not publish one universal distribution timetable for every school.
What the two batches mean
SIMCC's results page divides countries and territories into two announcement batches:
Singapore is listed in Batch 1; and
the remaining listed countries and territories appear in Batch 2.
Both batches are now released. SIMCC reports 16,564 students from 1,927 schools in Batch 1 and 45,176 students from 6,220 schools in Batch 2.
Those figures describe the two published batches. They do not tell an individual candidate's grade-level percentile or award cut-off.
How to read the award label
The current SASMO competition page lists these result and recognition categories:
Perfect Score;
Gold;
Silver;
Bronze;
Honourable Mention; and
Certificate of Participation.
SIMCC says Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners receive certificates and medals. Honourable Mention and Certificate of Participation recipients receive e-certificates. Perfect Scorers receive a personalised medallion and an SGD100 voucher, subject to SIMCC's stated combined SGD5,000 cap for perfect-score vouchers.
The organiser's award-ratio graphic, grade result file, and portal report control the candidate's result. The earlier version of this guide described Gold, Silver, and Bronze as fixed top 8%, 20%, and 40% bands. The current public text also says award ratios depend on country enrolment and may not apply exactly when a country has fewer than 500 contestants. This guide therefore does not turn those ratios into universal cut-offs.
If you cannot find the candidate
Check these possibilities before concluding that a result is missing:
you opened a batch file instead of the overall final file;
you selected the wrong grade;
the name is recorded with a different spacing or spelling;
the result is in the Certificate of Participation file rather than a medal file; or
the detailed report is visible only through the registration account or school coordinator.
If the official files and portal still do not resolve the issue, contact the school coordinator or SIMCC using the details on its current registration page. Include the registration identity and grade, but do not post private candidate information publicly.
Using a SASMO result in DSA-Sec
MOE lists Mathematics and Computational Thinking as a DSA-Sec talent area, but each participating school publishes its own talent criteria, selection process, and available places.
A safe application record should state only what the evidence shows:
organiser: SIMCC;
competition: SASMO 2026;
candidate's grade;
exact award or result; and
official result file, certificate, or portal report.
Do not describe a medal as a guaranteed shortlist, rank SASMO against other competitions without the target school's criteria, or claim that a particular award tier has a fixed DSA weight. Check the DSA page of every target school.
The old guide said Gold and Silver were the tiers most commonly cited, that Bronze placed every recipient in the top 40%, and that several named contests formed a predictable progression path. The reviewed SIMCC and MOE pages do not establish those admissions claims.
What to do after checking the result
Save the official certificate or report with the year and grade visible.
Confirm any physical-medal or certificate process with the school or SIMCC.
Record the result accurately in applications without adding an unsupported percentile.
Review the marked or performance report, if provided, for topic-level evidence.
Choose the next competition or study plan from the student's interests, current skills, age, and organiser eligibility rather than the medal alone.
The live organiser page confirms that both batches and the overall final result files are available. It does not show one release timestamp in the page text reviewed on 19 July. Use the current publication status rather than repeating a forecast date.
Does a Primary 6 candidate still need an early release request?
No early-release request is needed to access the result files that are already public. SIMCC's general FAQ mentions an early-release contact for Singapore Primary 6 DSA applicants before ordinary publication, but that is no longer the current action for the published 2026 cycle.
What score was needed for Gold?
Use the candidate's official result file or report. The public result page does not publish one universal numerical Gold cut-off for every grade and country.
Is every participant listed in the medal files?
No. The organiser provides a separate Certificate of Participation file, in addition to the grade files and Perfect Scorers list.
Can a SASMO award guarantee DSA admission?
No. MOE leaves each DSA school's talent criteria and selection process to that school. Report the award accurately and check the target school's current requirements.
