Development Pathway

- Commissioning and residency – Officer Cadet School intake followed by Military Dental Residency and rotations in SAF clinics, SAFRA Dental Centre, and field deployments.
- Post-bond career tracks – specialise in prosthodontics, oral surgery, or command appointments at the Military Medicine Institute and SAF Headquarters Medical Corps.
Application Roadmap
- Register interest early through MINDEF's scholarship portal and career fairs (Oct–Jan).
- Submit documentation – academic transcripts, co-curricular records, teacher references, and a motivation statement focusing on service.
- Complete psychometric profiling and situational judgement assessments run by Defence Psychology Department.
- Attend Military Domain Experts Assessment – leadership tasks, group discussions, and physical fitness benchmarks.
- Medical and dental board screening to certify clinical suitability for field and operational deployments.
