TL;DR
If you’re thinking about an appeal, first check MOE’s official appeal instructions, then use the COP tool to sanity-check whether the target school is within reach - and still report to your posted school while you wait.
  • Appeal only after checking the official rule and your score fit: Keep reporting to your posted school while waiting.
  • JC and MI appeals follow MOE guidance plus each school's process: Use COP data to separate realistic options from reach choices.
  • A realistic appeal needs the minimum entry requirement, a matching net aggregate, and a backup plan: For example, if net L1R5 is 10 and the target JC Science cut-off was 7, treat it as a reach, not a plan.
