TL;DR
If you’re thinking about an appeal, first check MOE’s official appeal instructions, then use the COP tool to sanity-check whether the target school is within reach — and still report to your posted school while you wait.
Official references (start here):

Step 1: Make the appeal realistic (numbers first)
MOE states that for the course you are appealing for, you must meet both the minimum entry requirement and the net aggregate score of the last admitted applicant posted to the course (https://www.moe.gov.sg/post-secondary/admissions/jae/release-of-posting-results/submit-an-appeal).
How to use that quickly:
- Open the COP tool for your track (e.g. JC Science: https://eclatinstitute.sg/jae-cut-off-points?track=jc-science&sort=cutoff#jae-cop-table).
- Enter your net score to see a buffer label (Safe / Target / Reach) against past cut-off bands.
- Pin up to six schools so you can compare options side-by-side and keep at least two “safe” choices.
