Q: When are NMOS 2026 results released and how do I check them?
A: NMOS results are typically communicated through your child's primary school, not published online by NUS High. Heat Round results usually arrive between June and July; Special Round results follow between July and August. Exact dates vary each year.
TL;DR
NMOS (National Mathematical Olympiad of Singapore) results are distributed via schools.
Heat Round results historically come out in June--July; Special Round results in July--August.
Award tiers range from Gold (approximately the top 5%) to Honourable Mention.
There is no public online portal - check with your child's Maths teacher or school office.
1 When are NMOS 2026 results released?
NMOS results follow the competition schedule. NUS High School does not publish a fixed results-release date, but based on historical patterns:
| Round | Competition window | Results typically released |
| Heat Round | Typically June | Approximately 2--4 weeks after the paper |
| Special Round | Typically July | Approximately 2--4 weeks after the paper |
These windows are approximate. NUS High's official NMOS pages will carry the definitive dates once announced for each cycle.
Important: NMOS is for Primary 5 students only. If your child sat the Heat Round, Special Round invitations (for top performers) typically follow before the Special Round date.
2 How to check your NMOS results
NMOS results are not published on a public online portal. Here is how to check:
- Through your child's school. Results are sent to the participating school. Your child's Maths teacher or Maths Olympiad coordinator will distribute individual results.
- School notice or letter. Some schools issue a formal letter with the score and award tier.
