A-Level Private Candidate Singapore 2026: Registration Is Closed

Q: Can I still register as a private candidate for the 2026 Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level examination?
A: No. SEAB says 2026 GCE-Level registration has closed and asks prospective 2027 candidates to return to its private-candidate page in March 2027. Do not send payment to a third party claiming it can reopen SEAB registration.

Current 2026 status

The ordinary 2026 registration period ran from 7 April at 9.00 am to 20 April at 11.00 pm. A later supplementary exercise ended on 26 May at 11.00 pm. Both are now closed.

If you registered successfully:

• the year-end Entry Proof became available in the Candidates Portal on 25 June;
• a science practical centre and reporting time should be emailed at least seven days before the examination;
• the deadline to withdraw from the entire examination is 1 September 2026 at 11.00 pm; and
• SEAB currently gives a tentative A-Level results-release window of 19 to 23 February 2027.

SEAB says the actual results date is confirmed only after examination processes are complete.

If you did not register, plan for the 2027 exercise instead of relying on the expired 2026 timetable.
