I'm in JC Year 2 - do I still qualify?

Yes, the EMB applies to both JC Year 1 and Year 2 students (and MI students in all years) who meet the top-25% and income criteria.

My school is in the Integrated Programme (IP) - does this apply?

JC-level IP students (i.e., in Years 5–6 of an IP school) are typically assessed under JC/MI rules for EMB. Confirm with your school if you are in IP Year 5–6.

What if my household income changed this year?

MOE uses the latest income records available via government databases. If your income has changed significantly, the auto-assessment will reflect that. You do not need to submit documents proactively, but can contact your school if you believe there is an error.

Is the S$400 cash or Edusave credits?

The EMB is credited to the student's Edusave account. Edusave credits can be used to pay for approved fees, enrichment programmes, and education-related expenses. They cannot be withdrawn as cash.

I didn't receive the EMB this year - what do I do?

Speak to your CO (civics/class teacher) or your school's student services office. They can advise whether you met the top-25% and income criteria and escalate if there is a discrepancy.
