The common citizenship rule states that the applicant must be a Singapore Citizen, or have at least one Singapore Citizen parent if under 21.

LBKM's live page currently labels the tertiary cycle "closed" even though the listed dates begin on 22 July 2026. Treat the dates as the published upcoming window and check portal availability on or after 22 July.

Concurrent aid rule

LBKM says applicants must not concurrently hold another institution or organisation bursary or scholarship in the same academic year. TTFS recipients may apply. Do not assume that HECB, a university bursary or another community award is compatible without written confirmation.

Documents

The official page lists identity documents, household income evidence, student status evidence, latest results, bank statements and supporting legal documents where applicable. An offer letter is not accepted as proof of current student status.
