Q: My child is in primary school but not in a Government-aided school - can we apply? A: The SINDA portal specifies Government or Government-aided schools. Confirm directly with SINDA if your school qualifies.
Q: Is the $110/month paid per month or as a lump sum? A: It is paid monthly from the month of approval until November 2026 (per the portal). Earlier application means more months of disbursement.
Q: We are Indian PRs, not SCs. Are we eligible? A: Yes. Indian PRs are eligible. Either the student or the parent may hold PR status.
Q: Can SINDA and MOE FAS be held at the same time? A: Yes. MOE FAS (school-administered) and the SINDA bursary (SINDA portal) are independent schemes and can run concurrently.
