Q: When are the ITE school holidays in AY2026/2027?
A: It depends on the course calendar. January-intake Nitec and three-year Higher Nitec calendars have vacations from 21 March to 5 April, 13 June to 12 July, 19 September to 4 October, and 12 December 2026 to 10 January 2027. The two April-intake calendars start with the June vacation and include a fourth vacation from 20 March to 4 April 2027.

The vacation dates align within each intake, but study and exam weeks differ by course group.
Find the course group first, then use the official ITE page for any late change.

Choose the correct ITE calendar
The official page separates full-time courses into four groups:

| 1 | January | Nitec courses |
| 2 | April | ITE Diplomas and selected Year 2 students in named two-year Higher Nitec courses |
| 3 | January | Three-year Higher Nitec courses |
| 4 | April | Two-year Higher Nitec courses corresponding to the three-year courses, plus Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education |
Group 2 applies only to Year 2 of the selected courses named on ITE's page. Group 4 excludes those selected Year 2 courses. If the course title or year of study is unclear, confirm the group with ITE rather than choosing only by intake month.
