Eligibility Highlights

Application Roadmap
- From December, visit the Powering Lives portal and create an account to access the EIS application form.
- Identify up to three preferred sponsoring organisations aligned with your engineering interests.
- Prepare required documents: academic transcripts, CCA records, resume, and any industry exposure certificates.
- Submit the application before the March closing date (the 2024 cycle ran from January to April).
- Attend interviews with shortlisted sponsoring organisations; offers are issued directly by the companies.
- Review the scholarship agreement carefully, noting bond length, development opportunities, and rotation plans before signing.
Bond & Career Notes
- Bond durations: three years for full-term awards (Year 1 applicants) and two years for mid-term awards (Years 2 and 3).
- Scholars join their sponsoring organisation upon graduation, often in engineering operations, maintenance, or systems roles.
