Sitting the exam in 2027? Use K324. Sitting in 2026? Keep using the current 6092 syllabus and your school materials.
K324 is the controlling source for the 2027 Pure Chemistry track. Use the practical hub for laboratory preparation and recheck the official assessment details before an examination cycle.
Pure or Combined? Pure and Combined Chemistry share the same 12 top-level labels, but the outcomes are not identical. Pure K324 includes electrolysis outcomes that the reviewed Combined component does not.
01
1
Choose apparatus and separation methods, record observations precisely, and plan fair, safe measurements.
2
Use particle and atomic models to explain states, diffusion, elements, compounds, mixtures, and electronic structure.
3
Connect bonding and structure to formulae, diagrams, physical properties, and expected conductivity.
02
4
Move between formulae, equations, moles, masses, solutions, gases, and yields with units and ratios visible.
5
Distinguish acids, bases, alkalis, pH, neutralisation, and salt preparation routes from the substances given.
6
Select a test, state the reagent and condition, record the observation, and make only the supported inference.
7
Track electron transfer and oxidation states. Pure K324 includes electrolysis outcomes that Combined Chemistry does not.
8
Use group and period patterns to predict properties, reactions, and trends without treating every trend as absolute.
9
Use energy-change ideas, bond-energy reasoning, and reaction profiles with system and sign conventions stated.
10
Link collision reasoning, variables, graphs, experimental design, and catalyst effects to measured rate.
03
11
Recognise homologous series, structures, reactions, polymers, and property trends within the current syllabus scope.
12
Connect pollutant sources, chemical effects, evidence, and mitigation without overstating a single cause or solution.

The focus lines are Eclat revision guidance. They are not quoted syllabus text and do not replace the official learning outcomes.
This hub maps the official 2027 SEC G3 Chemistry K324 top-level topics. The linked SEAB syllabus remains authoritative for every assessable learning outcome and paper detail.
O-Level is still familiar reader language and 6092 is the 2026-and-earlier reference code. Students sitting in 2027 should use K324, while 2026 candidates must follow their current legacy syllabus and school instructions.
Only as a national comparison. IP schools control their own sequence, depth, and assessment scope, so IP students should use the separate IP route and follow current school materials first.
