1 Why the Clementi–Jurong corridor matters

This stretch of the East-West Line anchors the West-side student belt:

NUS Kent Ridge is a short bus ride from Clementi MRT (buses 96 and 33), making Clementi Mall and the public library natural after-class study spots.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic sits on Clementi Road - students walk or take one bus to Clementi MRT.
Singapore Polytechnic is at Dover, one EWL stop from Clementi.
Jurong East MRT is an EWL–NSL interchange surrounded by JEM, Westgate, and IMM - plenty of food options for study breaks.

Parents prefer the sheltered walks from MRT exits to libraries and malls, and the interchange at Jurong East keeps late pickups and cross-island commutes manageable.

Location: 5th floor, The Clementi Mall (3155 Commonwealth Ave West). Short walk from Clementi MRT through the mall.
Seating: Neighbourhood-sized branch - good for solo quiet work, but seats fill quickly during exam peaks. Try arriving before 4 pm on weekdays.
Seat booking: Reservable seats may be available via the NLB seat booking portal - check the portal for current branch availability.
Food nearby: The mall has a food court on the same level, handy for short breaks.
