IP A-Math Notes | Upper Secondary Sec 3-4 PDF

Frequently Asked Questions

• How should IP students use this Sec 3-4 A-Math sequence?+

Use the 20 chapters as Eclat's provisional IP revision route. Current school materials, teacher instructions, and assessment scope decide whether a topic is core, extended, or taught in a different order.

• Do you include worked examples and common pitfalls?+

Use the worked solutions to check domain and range, signs, and the conditions needed for calculus methods in your own answers.

• Can I download everything as one PDF?+

Yes - download /pdf/ip-amaths-upper-sec-notes-complete.pdf for the consolidated printable bundle.

• How should I pace revision for calculus-heavy topics?+

Follow your school's topic order. Revisit algebra, graphs, and trigonometry when they cause mistakes in calculus. After learning differentiation and integration, practise applying them to questions such as kinematics.
