IP Maths tuition in Singapore has to follow how Integrated Programme schools actually teach. Different schools sequence topics differently, and students can look fine in one chapter while older algebra, geometry, or graphing gaps quietly slow every new topic.
Our tuition loop diagnoses the student's current school sequence before pushing more advanced work. Once the immediate school topic is stable, we connect the work to the longer IP pathway: Sec 1-2 foundations, Sec 3-4 upper-sec depth, and the bridge into H2 Mathematics.
| IP1-IP2 | Algebra fluency, geometry, basic trigonometry, ratios, graphs, and problem setup. |
| IP3-IP4 | Functions, graphs, logarithms, calculus entry, probability, and school exam strategy. |
| JC bridge | H2 functions, vectors, calculus, statistics readiness, and independent solution planning. |
Grades are uneven across topics
A student can handle the current chapter but still lose marks when older algebra, geometry, or graphing steps reappear.
The school pace feels compressed
IP schools may move quickly from basics into harder transfer questions, so weekly support has to follow the school sequence closely.
Year 4 needs a clean H2 bridge
Upper-sec IP Maths should build the working habits, functions, calculus, vectors, and statistics readiness needed before JC.
Tiered monthly fees for 4 weekly 1.5-hour sessions.
Sec 1–2 foundations: numbers, algebra, geometry, and data handling with printable PDFs.
Sec 3–4 EMaths (E Maths / Elementary Maths) notes: algebra, graphs, mensuration, probability, and statistics in syllabus order.
Sec 3–4 AMaths (A Maths / Additional Maths) notes: trig, calculus, and worked examples with printable PDFs.
IP syllabi compress foundational topics and dive earlier into higher-order proofs, functions and statistics. Our scheme mirrors this pacing, introducing A-level techniques (e.g., binomial proof, parametric equations) gradually from Year 3 onward.
Many students start in Sec 3 when algebra, functions, and calculus intensity ramps up, or before major WAs if scores are unstable. If your teen is starting later, start now and prioritise weak fundamentals and timed-paper habits first.
We cap each group at 8 students so tutors can check working, correct misconceptions early, and give targeted feedback during class.

My daughter is so happy that she got an A, though she said many of her classmates got A+. But to her, it is a big jump from failing. We would like to push her slowly to achieve A+. Today, her teacher asked her to go to the board and answer the question on factorisation using the cross method. She knew how to do it and got it correct. She finds it so satisfying.

I got 76/80 for math and 84.5/100 for science.
- Parent of HCI Y2 Science
I got 26/30 for math 2 test 1. Top 3 in my class.
- NYGH Y2 Lower Secondary Student
I got my math results today, got 38 out of 40.

Diagnose
Map the student's current school topic, recent WA scripts, and recurring weak strands.
Stabilise
Rebuild the highest-impact concept or method before adding another stack of worksheets.
Transfer
Practise the same idea across non-standard IP questions, timed work, and correction routines.

Does IP school order matter?
Yes. The first diagnostic checks what the school is teaching now, then separates urgent exam topics from background gaps.
Is one-to-one better?
One-to-one helps acute gaps, but many students improve with a small group when corrections and homework priorities are personalised.
What if my child is too weak?
Start with the weakest high-impact strand instead of adding more worksheets across every topic.
How is progress checked?
Progress is checked through diagnostic strands, worked corrections, and school-exam preparation before each assessment window.
Maths competition pathways
Strong IP Maths foundations are the platform for competition success. Our students have gone on to compete in SASMO, SMO, and other olympiads. Not sure which competition is right for your child?

Yes-our integrated track inevitably covers what O-Level calls A-Math; differentiation and integration appear by mid-Year 3.
We administer a pre-assessment. We test students on the fundamental concepts and techniques in mathematics according to the MOE curriculum. We also do a qualitative interview with the student. Based on our assessment, we focus on the student weak points so that the student can build on strong fundamentals and feel motivated on his/her progress.
Students routinely write “explain-your-thinking” steps; we coach metacognitive reflection so they articulate why a technique, not just how.
After each term, we may recommend shifting to a faster or steadier track; transitions are smooth because all classes follow the same conceptual sequence.
Yes-graphing calculator (TI-84 / Casio fx-CG50) shortcuts are embedded into lessons, as Integrated Programme (IP) exams now assume proficiency.
Our Year 4 “Head-Start” module previews vectors in 3-D, Maclaurin series and introductory proofs, so students enter IP Year 5 (JC 1) able to follow the accelerated pace.
Across 2020 - 2025, 9 in 10 students scored As and Bs in Maths. 6 in 10 students scored A1 or A2 in Maths. Those starting at a failing grade averaged a 2-band climb within one semester.
No hidden charges. Course notes, worksheets and portal access are included; optional contest-prep packs incur separate, transparent fees.
We identify weaknesses that your teenager can quickly improve on. Motivation often rises with concrete progress.
Yes. Physics and Maths timetables are staggered so IP students can attend both without back-to-back cognitive overload.
